Total miles for week 7 – 40.57

Last week included my longest run to date (16 miles) and also the most miles I’ve run in one week (40.57).  While the long run was tough, I started at 5 AM and it was already 80 degrees, it was not too bad and I had no pain during or after the run.  My BG also did really well.  I think I had 4 GUs during the run and only had water to drink.  Next time I plan to include some Gatorade along with the water.

Training continues to go very well and I am quite pleased with how I am feeling physically after running 40+ miles last week.

Chicago Marathon is only 58  (FIFTY-EIGHT!!!) days away.

Wow, your marathon training is serious! Mine was nowhere near this focused – but it showed in my inability to attain anywhere near my goal time. Great work!
