Chicago Marathon Training – Week 4

July 21, 2009

Mon – 5.99, 10:19 pace night time run
Wed – 7.03, 9:25 pace w/6 x 400 intervals
Thu – 5.00, 9:24 pace w/faster second half
Fri – 3.00, 9:54 pace part of a swim/run brick
Sun – 12.03 – 10:06 pace

33.06 total miles for the week.  Over 5 hours and 26 minutes of running.  This is the first time I’ve been over 30 MPW and I’m feeling just fine.  No soreness or anything else to report.  This past week also included two 1000 yard swims and a 17 mile bike ride.  Long day of 14 miles coming up next week… my longest run ever!
